Custom pool cages and screen enclosures

A pool cage is the biggest investment you'll add to your home, and you'll look through it every single day. We design enclosures that make room for the way your family actually uses the space without putting anything in front of the view, then engineer them to stand up to the wind Florida will eventually send.

Clear-span pool cage over a screened pool and spa, garden beds bordering the lawn

Room for the family, not in front of the view

The first question is how many people are out there on a Saturday — where they sit, where they eat, where the kids get in and out of the pool. That sets the footprint. Then the structure gets designed around it: clear spans instead of posts in the middle of the deck, oversized panels, and beams placed where they carry load without landing in your sightline. You get the room you actually needed, and you still see straight through it.

We handle all of it

Every NorthStar enclosure is built to current Florida wind-load requirements, permitted before work starts, and inspected when it's done. We pull the permit, we produce the sealed drawings, we meet the inspector, and we handle the county. Nothing on that list becomes your phone call. That's not a premium add-on — that's doing it right, and it's what licensed is supposed to mean.

Aluminum-framed screen room built beneath a second-story balcony, furnished patio visible inside

Built from materials that last

Marine-grade aluminum framing, CECO coated stainless screws backed by a rust-free guarantee, and super screen mesh matched to your priorities — insect protection, sun filtering, privacy, or pet resistance. Ask about our Solid Rec tube upgrade: substantially stronger than the self-mating-beam framing most cages use, built to resist deflection and bowing without the corner bracing lower-quality cages need — which is how our ClearView sections clear-span up to 55 feet. We'll show you the differences at your consultation and tell you plainly what we'd put on our own house.

Common Questions

Do I need a permit for a pool cage?

+

Yes, and we pull it. An unpermitted enclosure can become your problem at sale time or claim time; ours are engineered, permitted, and inspected.

What does a custom enclosure cost?

+

Most enclosures run $15,000–$30,000. Add a deck or upgrades like Solid Rec tube framing and larger projects run $50,000–$100,000+, depending on size and height. Every project gets a fixed quote after the design consultation, and the number we quote is the number you pay.

How long does a new enclosure take?

+

Roughly 6–10 weeks from permit to completion — typically 2–6 weeks for permitting, then 2–4 weeks to build, depending on the scope and the county's review time.
