Privacy Policy

What you send us

The consultation form asks for your name, phone number, and email address. It also offers three optional fields: your community, the type of project you have in mind, and a description of the space or the problem.

When you submit that form, the information is sent to us as an email. That is the whole of it. This website keeps no customer database — your submission is not written to a server, not added to a mailing list, and not passed to a data broker, an advertiser, or a lead-resale service. It arrives in a NorthStar inbox and lives there like any other message from a customer.

We use what you send to reply, to schedule a consultation, and to quote your project. If you would rather we delete it, email us and we will.

What the site records on its own

Like most websites, ours keeps short-lived server logs — the address of the page requested, your IP address, your browser's user-agent string, and the time of the request. Those logs exist to keep the site running and to spot abuse, and they are not used to build a profile of you.

Analytics and advertising

We use Google Analytics and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to understand how people find and use the site, and to measure whether our advertising is worth what it costs. Both set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser and report back to Google and Meta respectively.

What they record is the pages you visit, roughly where you came from, general location and device information, and whether you submitted a consultation request. What they do not receive is the contents of that request: when a submission succeeds we send those services an anonymous event saying a request happened, never your name, phone number, email address, or the description of your project.

• — Meta's practices are described at facebook.com/policy, and ad preferences can be changed in your Facebook or Instagram account settings.
• — Your browser's own privacy settings can block or delete these cookies, and the site works normally without them.

Service providers

Two other companies touch information you send, both in a strictly limited way.

• — Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a form submission comes from a person rather than an automated script. As part of that check, Cloudflare receives your IP address and basic signals about your browser.
• — Postmark delivers the resulting email to us, which means the message passes through their systems in transit.

What we do not do

We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not share what you send with other contractors, lead-generation networks, or marketing partners. We do not add you to a newsletter because you asked for a quote.

How long we keep things

Consultation emails stay in our inbox for as long as they are useful for serving you and keeping a record of the work, and we delete them on request. Server logs are kept briefly for security and troubleshooting, then discarded. Analytics data is retained by Google and Meta under their own retention policies, which their privacy pages describe.

Your choices

Email us at Contact@NorthStarAluminumFL.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. Because the site stores nothing itself, honoring a deletion request generally means deleting an email, which we can do quickly.

Children

This site sells outdoor construction to homeowners and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Other sites

Where we link to another company — a manufacturer, a materials partner, or the state licensing portal — that site has its own privacy policy, and this one does not govern it.

Changes

If this policy changes, the effective date above changes with it. Material changes will be described here rather than made quietly.
