Patios and decks built for Florida

The floor of your outdoor room deserves the same engineering as the walls. We design and build patios and decks that match the house, handle salt air and summer storms, and are planned from the start for whatever you might add above them later — an enclosure, a roof, or nothing at all.

Freshly poured deck slab at a new build, before the enclosure goes up

Built as part of the whole

Most people build the deck first and think about the enclosure later. That's fine — as long as the deck is poured for the cage you might want. We master-plan it either way: footings placed where columns would land, the slab sized and pitched to take an enclosure, wiring for motorized systems run before the concrete cures. If you never add the cage, you have a better deck and it cost you nothing extra. If you do, the structure lands on a slab already built for it instead of one that has to be cut and retrofitted. Either way it gets engineered drawings, a permit, and an inspection — if someone quotes you a deck without mentioning permits, that quote is missing a chapter.

Materials chosen to match the house

The deck should look like it was always there. We match the stone or paver to the roofline, the trim, and the color the house is already wearing — travertine, marble, shellstone, or concrete pavers — and specify the framing and railings alongside it so the deck, the structure, and the rail read as one piece of work rather than three decisions made in different rooms. Bring a photo of what you like and we will tell you honestly whether it suits the house or fights it. Everything we spec holds up in this climate; that part is the floor, not the selling point.

Carports and insulated roofs

A composite insulated roof panel does what a bare aluminum cover cannot: it keeps the heat out rather than passing it through, so the space underneath is usable at two in the afternoon in August. Rain stays off, the temperature drops, and a patio that was pleasant for two months a year becomes somewhere you actually sit. The same panel system builds carports — covered parking that matches the house instead of looking like it was bought from a catalog and bolted on.

Common Questions

What materials do you offer for patios and decks?

+

Natural stone — marble, travertine, and shellstone — through our partner Stone Mart, or concrete pavers through Tri Circle, full service from selection through installation. Prefer your own stone? We'll install material you supply. We also pour concrete deck extensions, footers, and driveways and walkways, standalone or built as part of an enclosure.

How This Build Works

01

Design for what comes later

The deck gets planned for the enclosure you might add, not just the one you're buying — footings, pitch, and wiring set now so nothing has to be cut later.

02

Fixed quote & permit

An itemized quote and a permit pulled properly, whether the job is a slab, a screen room, or both.

03

Pour, build, walkthrough

Structural work gets inspected like everything else we build, with a final walkthrough before we call it done.
